This section covers the Foodship 360 apps used by venue staff — Order Receiving (ORA), POS and Kiosk. These are staff tools, not consumer apps; a venue’s manager installs and pairs them.
What the apps send us
- Device details — device name, type, operating system and app version, plus a device ID we generate at pairing. We use these to link the device to the venue, show it in the venue’s device list, and keep it in sync.
- Notification token — a token from Apple or Google so we can alert staff to new orders and bookings. This is shared with Google Firebase, which delivers the messages on our behalf.
- Activity and fault logs — sign-in events, printing results and basic performance timings, used to keep the service running and to diagnose problems.
- Venue and order information — orders, bookings and the customer details attached to them (such as name, phone number and delivery address). This information belongs to the venue; we process it on their behalf so staff can see and manage it.
Staff information
Staff accounts are created by the venue, not by us. The apps hold a staff member’s name, role and PIN for signing in.
What stays on the device
- Bluetooth is used only to find and connect to nearby receipt and kitchen printers.
- Local network access is used only to reach printers on the venue’s own network.
Neither is used for tracking or location, and no data collected through them is sent to us or anyone else. We do not use any of this for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.
